You and I have a lot of overlap in our lists. Wuthering Heights was tragically romantic. I love Audrey Niffenegger, Jane Austen and Diana Gabaldon. Marion Zimmer Bradley also has a couple of epic love stories interwoven into her fantasy novels.

Ernessa, I definitely agree Jane Eyre can get lost on the shuffle, they are both great books. Wuthering Heights is one of those you either love or hate I think.

I think Romeo and Juliet depended on how you were introduced to it and the teaching style, unfortunately a bad teacher can make enjoyable things seem like death.

I strongly recommend Evermore by Alyson Noel. I completely love it. It’s a Series, but still amazing. Adult Fiction though, definitely. I’m on the second book, & nothing truly bad has happened yet, but I have the slightest feeling it will. It’s really called the Immortals (YES, it’s that kind. But nothing like the Twilight Saga, trust me) but I call it by their names, don’t know why. I am about to begin to attempt to read Wuthering Heights again!
I never liked it.
I much preferred Jane Eyre, another love story, which actually deserved the big fuss that is normally given to Wuthering Heights.
Also wanted to comment about how I loved Romeo and Juliet in school and could never figure out why people couldn’t understand it.
